New Officers Inducted at Convention

Fr. Ramon Valera, Alliance Head Shepherd, inducted into office the following servant leaders during the 16th National Convention:

Melba Barrameda as Regional Coordinator for the East Atlantic Region, appointed by National Coordinator Bob Canton. She is currently a member of the Diocesan Pastoral Council in Queens, NY. (Photo: second from left).

Emil Lucero as Regional Coordinator for the North Pacific Region, appointed by National Coordinator Bob Canton. Emil is currently the Chairperson of the Filipino Catholic Charismatic Communities in the San Francisco CA area. (Photo: third from left).

Don Quilao as Member of the Board of Directors, appointed by the Board, to serve the remaining term of Val Kiamco who had to vacate this elected position because of his move to the Philippines. Don is a Catholic lay preacher now based in Toronto, Canada, where he is currently the Head Servant of the Filipino Canadian Catholic Charismatic Prayer Communities (FCCCPC), a member of the Catholic Charismatic Renewal Council of the Archdiocese of Toronto. An engineer by profession, Don was once Chair of the Catholic Lay Preachers of the Philippines. (Photo: fourth from left).

Jeannie Ejercito (in absentia) as Regional Coordinator for the Rocky Mountain Region, appointed by National Coordinator Bob Canton. She is a servant leader of the St. Francis of Assisi Prayer Group of Las Vegas, NV.

Ramon Mescallado (in absentia) as Director of Information, appointed by National Coordinator Bob Canton. Ramon is currently Editor of the Alliance newsletter, The Trumpet, and is also Regional Coordinator for the Southeastern Region. Conversion of The Trumpet from newsletter to magazine format has been done through his initiative.
